New York
In November we took a girl trip to New York. I loved it! the smells, noise, people, shops, shows all of it! I didn't think it would be my type of place but I was wrong. We were supposed to see "the Little Mermaid" but thanks to the strike that fell through. It didn't stop us from having a good time my girls are very adaptable. (Oh, and we ran into Matt Harping at FAO) Thanks Grandpa Hicken for making this trip possible.

Mia's Wild Party
Mia just had her 8th Birthday party. We had a rock and roll theme. We made rock star boxes, played pin the microphone on Hanna Montana, played guitar hero and rock band, and made our own rock band names and costumes. The all girl band was named "Girls Off the Leash" and the other was "Dirty Boys and Girls". All went smoothly except for a mouth injury due to extreme dancing. (he recovered and got a visit from the tooth fairy so all ended well)

Japan Trip
In October we had the opportunity to go to Japan. (No kids) I loved every minute of it. We met up with some of Brandon's friends and they took us to see many cool places outside of the city. It was fun to hear Brandon talking Japanese. I loved the people and the food. I wouldn't mind spending more time there someday.

We get to take a trip to San Diego this week! Here are some pictures from last years good times. This year we plan on spending plenty of time at the beach the girls want to rent bikes and ride around Coronado. Last year we went to Sea World this dolphin ignored the kids on the other side and came over to stare back at Jada.

Ice Skating
Last night we took the kids to a local ice skating rink. The girls loved it and caught on pretty quickly. Luke loved being pulled, carried, and pushed but didn't grasp much more than that. Mia and Jada both had some pretty hard falls so next time helmet and elbow pads are a must.

Glacier National Park
Wow I really need to take more pictures of everyday life. The only pictures we have are of vacations. We have been some pretty amazing places. So to start out I will share a few. This is from a trip in summer 2007 to Glacier National Park. My little family is so much fun to travel with the kids were great and Luke was an avid hiker.
