Sick Day

It is a beautiful sunny day and we are stuck insides with a sad sick little boy. (Except for Mia she has ski class lucky girl) I feel bad for little lukey, normally he is a tornado of energy and destruction. Now all he can do is lay and moan, even B (blanket) offers little comfort hopefully this will pass quickly. Here are pictures of him on a normal day.

Luke thinks potty training is great. He take off his pants and diaper asks for privacy and then destroys the bathroom. Here he found the girls pink fruity bath powder it didn't taste as good as he hoped but turned everything he touched a cheerful shade of pink. (and the watermelon toothpaste smeared everywhere took that soapy taste right out of his mouth.)

Luke playing with Mommy's glasses. Dad had to get a new pair after Luke discovered his.

First Lost Tooth!

Jada lost her first tooth at the beginning of the month. Just three days after her cousin lost the same one. The tooth fairy was a little careless and forgetful, we couldn't find the money until Mom helped make the bed and shook out the pillow.

Great Uncles

My kids are lucky to have so many fun uncles. Here is just one example of the fun stuff they get to do. (A 2 year olds dream)

Thanks Monica!

This one is going to take a while, 10 things you probably don't know about me:

1) I am a computer idiot. Anytime I touch one I am certain it is going to blow up, freeze, catch a virus or just erase everything important.

2) I have a love/hate relationship with fish and the ocean. I think the ocean is one of the most beautiful places in the world and love to go but am completely freaked out by the power of it. Fish to me are like giant insects I could watch them forever in an aquarium but once they can touch me my heart rate goes up and I have full blown panic attacks. (Just ask Brandon about any of our snorkel experiences) And he wants me to get scuba certified!!!

3) I have no fashion or decorating skills whatsoever! (Well I guess you all know this but did you know that I desperately wish I did)

4) I hate church. I know everyone gasped. I like the feeling I get when I go and it is over but I am always very bored. I thought that when I reached a certain age church stuff would interest me.(not the case) Don't worry I'll still be there each week but I guess it is a real test of obedience.

5) I like stormy days. Don't get me wrong I love the sunshine but when it is sunny outside I'm always unsettled I want to be enjoying it and so I'm wishing I could be someplace else. When it is rainy or snowy I am more relaxed and don't mind being stuck home with the daily duties.

6) I am horrible at math and spelling. I still use my fingers for basic addition and hate playing games that involve adding because I'm so slow. My spelling is ridiculous even typing this I keep having to look up certain words.

7) I don't mind housework. I just hate that it gets undone so quickly, all my work done throughout the day is destroyed within a half hour of having the whole family home.

8) I like to window shop. I love going to stores just to walk around and look but buying is not fun for me. I am too indesicive and alway end up with buyers remorse.

9) I pull a Pres. Bush often by making up my own words or mixing up common sayings.

10) I love movies and TV shows but I feel like this veg time has to be earned by working or playing hard during the day.

okay I'm done. Now I get to tag some of you. So if you are reading this and don't have a blog page of your own (Jessica & Jenny) my first challenge is to get one soon and you can consider yourself tagged.

Good Times in California

Yikes! It's been a while since I posted. We have been enjoying the warmer weather. Luke was having so much fun outside I didn't even make him take a nap today. Warm days like this excite me for the spring but also make me wish I could have skied more this winter.
We had a good time on our Coronado trip. We relaxed, played on the beach, looked at tide pools, went for scenic drives, ate at IN-N-OUT, and just had a really good time. Here are some pictures.
